Hyderabad's Metro Rail is facing criticism for excessive noise levels, particularly near the Boiaguda station where residents and commuters are complaining about high decibel levels, potentially exceeding safety limits. safety. The High Court has issued a notice to the Metro authorities to explain the excessive noise levels, prompting an investigation and a potential review of operational procedures. The Metro Rail, operated by L&T, travels at a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour and runs on a track designed for speeds up to 90 kilometers per hour. While the track construction is considered sturdy, with pillars spaced 180 feet apart, the noise generated by the trains remains a concern. Residents near the track are reporting noise levels exceeding 80 decibels, while national standards for residential areas in cities like Chennai and Delhi are significantly lower. This disparity has led to calls for the Metro authorities to take immediate action to control the noise levels and ensure the safety and well-being of residents and commuters.

jaake, yeh concern diya hai ki yeh shor health aur safety ke liye harmful hai. High Court ne Metro authorities ko notice diya hai ki woh is shor ke baare mein samjhaye, aur isse ek investigation aur operational procedure mein changes ki ja sakti hain. L&T dwara operate ki jaane wali Metro Rail ki maximum speed 80 kilometers per hour hai, aur track 90 kilometers per hour ki speed ke liye design kiya gaya hai. Track ki construction bahut strong hai, aur pillars ke beech mein 180 feet ka gap hai, lekin trains se aane wala shor abhi bhi ek problem hai. Track ke paas rehne waale residents ne bataya hai ki shor 80 decibels se bhi zyada hai, jabki Chennai aur Delhi jaise cities mein residential areas ke liye standards bahut kam hain. Isse Metro authorities ko immediate action lene ke liye kaha ja raha hai taaki woh noise levels ko control kar sake aur residents aur commuters ki safety aur well-being ko ensure kar sake.
