Notably, the Amritsar-Lokmanya Tilak terminus Express was delayed by 3.5 hours in Gwalior, and seven trains were rerouted to avoid the affected section. Passengers who did not wish to travel the alternate route were allowed to disembark in Gwalior and provided alternative train services.
