The farmers' protest, ongoing in the state since February, has impacted train services, leading to cancellations and diversions. Farmers have set up camp on the Ambala railway track, forcing superfast trains and freight trains to be diverted through the Delhi-Bathinda track. The two passenger trains mentioned above remain canceled, with the duration of the cancellation dependent on the farmers' presence on the Ambala track. Train number 04994 departs Jind Junction at 5:50 PM and reaches Kurukshetra Junction at 9:20 PM, while train number 04988 departs Jind Junction at 3:50 PM and arrives in New Delhi at 7:30 PM.

February se chal raha kisanon ka andolan ab trains pe bhi affect dal raha hai, jisse trains cancel ho rahi hain ya divert ho rahi hain. Kisanon ne Ambala ke pass railway track pe dharna lagaya hai, jisse superfast trains aur freight trains ko Delhi-Bathinda track se guzarana pad raha hai.
