The Indian Railways has announced a weekly summer special train, numbered 01701/01702, to run between Jabalpur and Durg. The train will operate for 9 trips in each direction, starting April 22nd, 2024. Departing from Jabalpur at 8:30 PM every Monday, the train will reach Durg at 6:15 AM the next day....

The return train, departing from Durg at 9:30 AM every Tuesday, will arrive in Jabalpur at 9:15 PM the same day. The train will halt at Sihora Road, Katni South, Umaria, Shahdol, Anuppur, Pendra Road, Uslapur, Bhatapara, and Raipur stations. The train will have 22 coaches, including 2 AC 2-tier, 11 AC 3-tier, 5 sleeper class, 2 general class, 1 SLR, and 1 generator car.
