the Metro Company has remained silent. Officials say a metro route could be created if they desire. The survey conducted by the MP Metro Rail Corporation with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has not yet been submitted officially. Sources claim completing a 45 km corridor before Simhastha is unlikely. Therefore, operating a high-speed train on the existing rail routes appears more practical. The company surveyed two routes: Pithampur-Indore-Ujjain (80-85 km) and Indore-Ujjain (45 km). Interestingly, work on the Indore-Dahod rail line, connecting Pithampur and Indore, is progressing rapidly. A survey from Indore's Lovekush Chowk through Sanwer to Ujjain has been completed. During his visit to Indore, the Union Railway Minister assured representatives that a Vande Metro train would soon be launched on the route. Experts believe the Metro train is suitable for city transportation, while the Rapid Rail Transport System (RRTS) is more effective for connecting cities.
