The three young men had paid Rs. 21 lakhs in total to secure these fake jobs, with David receiving Rs. 5 lakhs and two others from West Bengal, Rupam Shah and Shubhashish Mandal, paying Rs. 8 lakhs each. They were promised a salary of Rs. 30,000 per month and received Rs. 10,000 for two months during training. While the commercial officer of Chakradharpur division confirmed the vigilance raid, further details were not provided. A case will be registered with the GRP after further investigation, as this is considered a case of fraud.
