In Bengaluru, there's growing concern about the shrinking number of general coaches on trains, despite the addition of new coaches and trains. This impacts the accessibility of affordable travel for the less affluent, who are forced to endure cramped conditions and face difficulties accessing basic amenities like restrooms. The introduction of...

the 'Vande Bharat' Express, a high-speed train with only AC chair car and executive class, further exacerbates the problem. While praised for its modern amenities, its high fares make it inaccessible to most. Additionally, the current schedule only covers daytime travel to select destinations. The reduction in general coaches across other express trains, coupled with the lack of additional coaches for the less privileged, has led to overcrowding and safety concerns. The situation is further compounded by the lack of action from railway authorities and elected officials. Passengers voice their concerns about the inadequate space, the struggle to board trains, and the lack of basic amenities. This leads to frequent disputes and safety hazards, especially during peak hours and when competitive exams are scheduled. Calls for increased general coaches, better security measures like scanning systems at AC coaches, and QR code-based entry are being raised. While authorities claim that special trains are deployed to manage peak crowds, passengers fear a future where affordable travel options become increasingly scarce, forcing them to rely on overcrowded buses.

Bengaluru mein, gareeb aur mazdoor logon ke liye sasta travel ka option kam hota ja raha hai. Naye bogi aur trains aane ke baavajood, general bogiyon ki sankhya kam hoti ja rahi hai. Isse gareeb logon ko bharchhaak trains mein travel karne ka majaal nahin hai aur unhein...

washroom jaane mein bhi dikkat hoti hai. 'Vande Bharat' Express, jo ki ek high-speed train hai, me sirf AC chair car aur executive class hai, jiska fare aam logon ki pahunch se bahar hai. Iss train ka schedule bhi sirf daytime travel ke liye hai. Aise hi aur bhi express trains mein general bogiyon ki sankhya kam ki ja rahi hai, aur gareebon ke liye alag se bogi nahin diye ja rahe hain. Iss wajah se, trains bahut zyada crowded ho gayi hain, aur safety bhi ek badi problem hai. Railway authorities aur elected officials is problem ko lekar kuchh nahin kar rahe hain. Passenger complain karte hain ki unhein space nahin milta, trains mein charhne mein dikkat hoti hai, aur basic amenities bhi nahin hain. Isse baar-baar fights aur safety issues hote hain, khaskar peak hours mein aur jab competitive exams hote hain. Logon ki demand hai ki general bogiyon ki sankhya badhayi jaaye, AC coaches mein scanning system lagaye jaayen, aur QR code-based entry system ho. Authority keh rahe hain ki special trains chalate hain crowded train ki problem solve karne ke liye, lekin passengers ko dar hai ki aage chal kar sasta travel ka option khatam ho jaayega aur unhein crowded buson par nirbhar hona padega.
