plan to transplant 29 trees to Kamar Danga near Beleghata. Experts from IIT Guwahati will provide technical support for this transplantation process. The Esplanade station location remains uncertain as the existing East West Metro station has already taken up most of the available space. The Metro is also considering an alternative location in Park Street if no suitable space is found at the proposed site near Bidhan Market. The Purple Line project is aiming for completion by December 2026, despite the ongoing challenges.
