The COD drain serves over 100 localities including Babupurwa, Munshypurwa, Begampurwa, Lal Colony, Transportnagar, Anandpuri, Kidwainagar, Juhi, Baradari, Saket Nagar, Naubasta, Yashodanagar, Gopalnagar, Pashupatinagar, Macharia, Hanspuram, Sanjay Gandhi Nagar, Babnagar, Boudhanagar, Khadepur, Bingawan, Fazalganj, Darshanpurwa, Chamanganj, Afiimkothi, Deputy Padav, Lakshmipurwa, and more. The waste water from these areas flows to the Bingawan Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). The Executive Engineer of Zone-2 of the Municipal Corporation, Bhaskar Diwakar, inspected the drain on Friday.
