7.37 per unit, up from Rs 4.92 per unit in the previous year. Adani Electricity currently charges Rs 6.15 per unit. While Tata Power officials claim that the difference in tariffs is minimal due to Adani Electricity's inclusion of a Fuel Adjustment Charge (FAC), MMRDA cites the significant increase and aims for a more economical power supply. The transition is underway, with MMRDA having previously signed an agreement with Adani Electricity to supply power for these lines, totaling over 120 million units.
