The Indian Railways has announced special trains to cater to the high demand for travel to Bihar from Delhi after Holi. A special train will run between Anand Vihar Terminal and Gaya on April 4th, departing Gaya at 1:15 PM and reaching Anand Vihar Terminal the next morning at 5:00 AM....

This train will also operate in reverse, departing Anand Vihar Terminal at 7:00 AM on April 5th and reaching Gaya at 8:45 PM. The train will stop at several stations along the way, including: Anugrah Narayan Road, Dehri-on-Sone, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj Junction, and Kanpur Central. To address the ongoing crowd, Railways have decided to increase the frequency of previously announced special trains running between Delhi and cities like Patna, Saharsa, Raxaul, and Samastipur. These trains will offer general, sleeper, and AC coaches. The special train from Anand Vihar Terminal to Patna will depart at 8:00 AM on April 2nd and arrive at Patna Sahib at 9:55 PM. The train will stop at Govindpur, Prayagraj Junction, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, Ara, and Danapur. The Saharsa special train will depart from Saharsa at 9:30 AM on April 3rd and from Anand Vihar Terminal at 9:30 AM on April 4th. The Raxaul special train will depart from Raxaul at 10:25 PM on April 3rd and from Anand Vihar Terminal at 8:00 PM on April 4th. The Samastipur special train will depart from Samastipur at 7:45 PM on April 2nd and from Anand Vihar Terminal at 8:30 PM on April 3rd. All trains will have scheduled stops at various cities along the route.
