Mysuru Railway Station was recognized as the best-maintained Major Station, and Bageshpura Railway Station was awarded the best-maintained Minor Station across the South Western Railway network. Seven employees of the Mysuru Division also received commendations and awards for their meritorious service at the Zonal level. The division achieved a record high freight loading of 10.503 million tonnes, exceeding the previous year's loading by 9.083%. The freight earnings also surpassed the previous year's earnings by ₹10.63 crores, and the overall revenue surpassed the previous year's earnings by ₹25.26 crores. The division also transported 30.47 million passengers up to February 2024, a 5.10% increase from the previous year. 342.8 RKM out of the targeted 395 RKM across the division has been completed in terms of track electrification.
