LTT. Benefits include increased local train frequency, improved crowd management, less interference from mail/express trains, and improved punctuality for both local and long-distance trains. The project is estimated to cost Rs 920 crore (2016 cost) and is currently in the land acquisition phase. Demolition of Sion bridge is planned after board exams, while elevated track construction at Kurla is ongoing. Platform construction on the west side has commenced, and the ground-level track of the harbour line will be converted to the fifth and sixth lines after the elevated track completion.

West side mein platform construction shuru ho chuka hai, aur elevated track complete hone ke baad harbour line ka ground level track panchvi aur chhathi line mein convert kiya jaayega.
