On March 12th, a high-speed Vande Bharat Express train began operating between Varanasi and Ranchi. However, the train does not stop at Hazaribagh Road railway station, causing anger among residents. On Tuesday, a protest was organized by various groups, including the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist), Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, and...

local residents, under the banner of the Rail Passenger Facility Association. The protest began at Vivekananda Morh in Saraiya and proceeded to Hazaribagh Road station. Protesters chanted slogans condemning the central government and demanding a stop for the Vande Bharat Express at the Hazaribagh Road station. They argued that the station's neglect by the government had led to its downgrading despite being a top revenue generator in the East Central Railway zone. Despite initial plans to include Hazaribagh Road in the train's stops, it was ultimately excluded on March 12th. The protesters pointed out that while other stations along the route are being served by the Vande Bharat Express, the train does not stop at any station in Giridih district, suggesting a deliberate political agenda behind this omission.

12 March se Varanasi aur Ranchi ke beech chalne wali Vande Bharat Express train Hazaribagh Road station pe rukti nahin hai, jisse logon mein bahut gussa hai. Bhaakpa Maale, Congress, Jhamumo aur local logo ne Rail Passenger Facility Association ke banner ke neeche kal din protest kiya aur Hazaribagh Road station...

ke paas tak kaala divas march nikala. Logon ne Narendra Modi government aur Railway Minister ko gussa dikhaate hue Vande Bharat Express train ko Hazaribagh Road station pe rukwane ki demand ki. Unhone kaha ki Hazaribagh Road station ko government ignore kar rahi hai aur isko downgrade kar diya gaya hai, haalaanki yeh East Central Railway zone mein sabse zyada revenue generate karta hai. Phele to plan tha ki Vande Bharat train Hazaribagh Road pe rukegi, lekin 12 March ko yeh plan cancel kar diya gaya. Protesters ne kaha ki is train ki wajah se Giridih district ka koi bhi station nahin chala ja sakta, haalaanki dusre district ke sabhi stations pe yeh train rukti hai. Isse lagta hai ki Hazaribagh Road station ko ignore karna ek political conspiracy hai.
