He announced the approval of the first leg of the 287-km circular railway network, touted to be the largest in India, aiming to improve local train services, reduce traffic congestion, and complement BSRP and Namma Metro. This circular network is expected to connect Nidvanda, Doddaballapur, Devanahalli, Malur, Heelalige, and Solur, enhancing Bengaluru's rail capacity and decongesting its network.
