The demand for passenger train service on this line arose after the freight train service began operating in 2020. The Railway Ministry has approved the passenger train service following requests from local residents. The safety of the track has been verified by experts from the Commission of Railway Safety, and trial runs have been conducted. The train will depart from Paradeep and travel to Kendujhar via Kendrapara.

2020 me freight train service start hone ke baad, yeh line pe passenger train service ka demand badh gaya tha. Local residents ke request ke baad Railway Ministry ne passenger train service ko approve kar diya. Track ki safety ko Commission of Railway Safety ke expert ne check kiya, aur trial runs bhi complete ho gaye. Train Paradeep se chalega aur Kendrapara se hoke Kendujhar jaayega.
