Bagodar MLA Singh emphasized that he has been raising the issue of the railway overbridge in the assembly since 2010. He criticized the railway's policy, pointing out that the Hatia-Islampur Express will now stop at Chaudharibandh railway station for a short time during the night, but not during the day, despite two other trains running on the same route during the day. He demanded that the railway stop all trains on this route, regardless of the time of day.
The event saw a confrontation between BJP and CPI (ML) supporters, with both sides engaging in chanting and shouting for around half an hour.
