To make way for the new building, the Railway Engineering Department has measured and marked the land for the new running room. Around 15 families residing near the proposed site have received a 15-day notice to vacate the railway land. Additionally, railway quarters near the running room are scheduled to be demolished, and the residents will be relocated to other quarters in the colony. The decision to build the new running room was made by the Railway AGM, who directed that each room should have two beds, unlike the existing running room, which has three to four beds per room. The Railway Engineering Officer has informed the Chakradharpur Divisional Headquarters about the land survey and notice issuance, as the new running room project is scheduled to commence soon.
