BJP state executive member Shamsher Kharkarda spoke about the struggles faced by the people in getting the Rohtak-Mahm-Hansi railway line approved. He mentioned their efforts since 2010, including meetings with former Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee in 2011. He also pointed out that despite the project's approval, the then Congress government did not allocate budget for it between 2012-2013 and 2014. There was a demand for the construction of service roads on both sides of the railway line.
