Safety SK Kannaujia, received the Star Performer of the Year award. The General Manager stated that the North Eastern Railway provides safe, secure, and comfortable travel facilities to passengers through its 505 stations across its three divisions – Izzatnagar, Varanasi, and Lucknow. The General Manager also inaugurated the e-coffee table book, 'Chhoti Line: A Journey of Transformation – North Eastern Railway (1875-2024)', published by the Public Relations Department. The Varanasi division received the Inter-Divisional All-Round Efficiency Shield, recognizing their excellence in fuel saving, mechanical (passenger/goods wagon), commercial, telecommunications, safety, stores, solar energy, customer-centric services, and public relations. The Lucknow division was awarded the Safety Shield for its achievements in inter-divisional safety, loco (operation), engineering, signal, medical, and official language efficiency. The Izzatnagar division received the Inter-Divisional Operations, Electrical, Accounts, and Personnel Efficiency Shield. The office of the Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer, Gorakhpur, was recognized as the Best Organized Office.
