already full train mein seats milna mushkil ho jayega. Unka maanana hai ki yeh extension illogical hai aur shayad ‘oblique interests’ se motivate kiya gaya hai. Unhone yeh bhi bataya ki Kozhikode already train se Bangalore se well-connected hai, aur extension se shayad dusre trains se passengers extended service mein switch kar jaayenge. Rao ne yeh bhi highlight kiya ki Railway Board ‘other states’ ke request ko accommodate kar raha hai, lekin Karnataka ki Vande Bharat Express ko Mangaluru tak extend karne ki demand ko reject kar raha hai.
