The Farakka Express has been extended to Bathinda. This extension was made due to yard problems in Sri Ganganagar. Passengers can now travel directly to Ayodhya via this train. Farakka Express will run three times a week, departing at 3 PM and arriving at 11:15 AM from Bathinda. This train will connect passengers to major cities like Kanpur, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Patna, and Bhagalpur. Ambala Intercity will connect to the Farakka Express in Bathinda, and passengers from Suratgarh, Pilibanga, Hanumangarh, and Sangaria can use train number 09749 to reach Bathinda and board the Farakka Express.
