Mission Raftaar: Mumbai-Ahmedabad train journey to run at 160 kmph soon

Western Railway (WR) is implementing 'Mission Raftaar' to increase train speeds on key routes like Mumbai-Surat-Vadodara-Delhi and Mumbai-Vadodara-Ahmedabad. The broader goal of 'Mission Raftaar' is to achieve a maximum speed of 160 kmph for passenger trains on important routes like Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Howrah. Bridge approaches are being reinforced with geocells, with progress already made on several bridges under WR's jurisdiction.

'Mission Raftaar' ka main aim passenger trains ki maximum speed 160 kmph karne ka hai, aur ye Delhi-Mumbai aur Delhi-Howrah jaise important routes pe hoga. Bridge approaches ko geocells se strengthen kiya ja raha hai, aur WR ke jurisdiction me kai bridges pe kaam complete ho chuka hai.
