has faced delays. Officials are working to complete the Madhavaram to Retteri segment by the end of 2026 and the Poonamallee to Porur Junction segment by the end of 2025. The goal of the project is to improve connectivity and address Chennai's growing transportation needs.

Kolathur se Villivakkam tak underground section mein delay aa raha hai. Officials ka target Madhavaram se Retteri segment ko 2026 ke end tak aur Poonamallee se Porur Junction segment ko 2025 ke end tak complete karna hai. Is project ka goal hai Chennai ke residents ko better connectivity aur transport facilities provide karna.
