Train services between Shahgarh and Mailani have already commenced, but services between Shahgarh and Pilibhit remain halted due to ongoing bridge construction over the Mala river. The bridge is now complete, and electricity poles have been installed in the Mala forest region except for at the bridge location. Wiring will be done on these poles, and the work is being expedited to meet the target of opening the entire track in February. On Saturday, RVNL Manager Krishna Mohan Vishkarma inspected the work from Pilibhit to Mala Bridge to ensure timely electrification between Pilibhit and Mala. Instructions were given to Madhur Goyal and Sarvesh Kumar, working in the area, to complete wiring by next week, enabling electrification between Pilibhit and Mala. Ravi Prakash, Sushil Kumar, and others were present during the inspection.
