Trial runs are underway on this section, with NCRTC aiming for a CMRS inspection once trains reach a design speed of 180kmph within the next month. The Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS, with a total cost of Rs 30,000 crore, has so far incurred Rs 18,160.81 crore, roughly 59.9% of the allocated funds. This 82.15km Rapid Rail Transit System connects Delhi's Sarai Kale Khan to Ghaziabad and Meerut, with the initial phase of the priority corridor covering 17km and encompassing five stations: Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, and Duhai Depot. Prime Minister Modi launched India's first RAPIDX train, Namo Bharat, from Sahibabad Station on October 20th. These trains achieve a maximum speed of 180km/h and offer ticket prices ranging from Rs 20 to Rs 50 for standard coaches and Rs 50 to Rs 100 for premium coaches.
