families informed the GRP that the men were in Kandra for work and had been contacted by someone before heading to Kandra near Tata with their belongings. The police are investigating how they reached Gamharia and ended up on the railway tracks. The bodies of all four victims have been kept in the morgue at MGM Medical College. The bodies of those identified will be handed over to their families on Saturday. The incident occurred when the four individuals were crossing the down line, 100 meters from platform number 4 in Gamharia. The train was traveling from Rishikesh to Puri. The ARMs, Railway SP, and other railway and police officers arrived at the scene after being informed about the accident. A relief train was also sent immediately, and the bodies were transported to Tatanagar railway station and then to the mortuary for post-mortem.
