Representatives from other MPs were also present. The General Manager, Anil Kumar Khandelwal, highlighted that the Dhanbad Division had secured the top position in freight loading and revenue generation among all divisions of Indian Railways in the current financial year. He further mentioned several passenger amenities initiatives undertaken by the division, including FOBs at 6 stations, platform sheds at 4 stations, and accessible toilets at 11 stations. He also mentioned the commencement of operations of the Vande Bharat train between Ranchi and Patna, the Dhanbad-Chandrapura passenger train, and the Intercity train from New Giridih to Ranchi. Automatic ticket vending machines were installed at 4 major stations for the convenience of daily passengers. The 'One Station One Product' scheme has been implemented at 11 key stations in the Dhanbad Division, providing stalls and trolleys at 15 stations, aiming to promote local development and employment. The General Manager expressed gratitude for the suggestions received from the MPs, stating their value in formulating future railway development plans.
