Low visibility impacted flight and train operations across Delhi, with visibility reaching zero meters at Palam Airport. Similar fog conditions were reported in various states, including Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, with zero visibility recorded in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The IMD issued a red alert for parts of Punjab and Haryana due to the cold wave conditions, with numerous locations in both states experiencing sub-zero temperatures. The IMD defined cold day, severe cold day, and severe cold wave conditions based on temperature variations.

Delhi mein low visibility ne flight aur train operations ko impact kiya, Palam Airport par visibility zero meters tak chali gayi. Punjab, Haryana aur Uttar Pradesh jaise states mein bhi similar fog conditions thi, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh mein visibility zero meters thi. IMD ne Punjab aur Haryana ke kuchh parts mein red alert jaari kiya, kyunki cold wave conditions thi aur dono states ke kai jagahon par temperature zero se neeche chala gaya. IMD ne temperature mein variation ke basis par cold day, severe cold day aur severe cold wave conditions define kiye.
