to take over MRTS operations by CMRL was finalized last month and the formal agreement with Southern Railway and the Tamil Nadu government is pending. Thirumayilai and Tiruvallikeni were chosen due to their location and high footfall, with Thiruvallikeni being near Marina Beach and Thirumayilai being planned for integration with the Chennai Metro Rail Phase II project.

Thirumayilai aur Tiruvallikeni ko inke location aur high footfall ki wajah se chuna gaya, jisme Tiruvallikeni Marina Beach ke paas hai aur Thirumayilai ko Chennai Metro Rail Phase II project se integrate karne ka plan hai.
