Station has become a hazard for passengers. Several trains, including the Chaurachouri Express, the Pawan Express, and the Secunderabad-Danapur Express, have had their coaches extending beyond the platform. This caused difficulties for passengers, especially women, who had to be assisted to board the train. The station superintendent said the problem of the short platform is known and a solution is being worked on.
