The train also boasts aerodynamic exterior looks inspired by an eagle's eyes, best-in-class interiors, sensor-based inter communication doors, automatic exterior passenger doors, a modular pantry, crash-worthy features, special accommodations for differently abled passengers, a shower with hot water in the first AC car, a public announcement and visual information system, noise insulation, a spacious luggage room, and an ergonomically designed odour-free toilet system. Similar to the chair car Vande Bharat trains, the sleeper variant will also be a self-propelled distributed power train set with a 160 kmph speed potential, allowing for faster acceleration and deceleration and reduced travel time, especially beneficial for overnight journeys.
