the inauguration ceremony at Daspalla, Vaishnaw stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to the development of Odisha and has been consistently working to ensure rail, telecommunication tower, and road connectivity for the 4.5 crore people of the state. The Nuagaon Road-Daspalla line is part of the Khurda-Balangir railway project, which Vaishnaw described as historic, adding that its work has been expedited under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Upon completion, the Khurda-Balangir line will connect coastal Odisha with the western region of the state.
