The South Eastern Railway plans to use the existing Tata-Godda Express rake, which operates only once a week in each direction and remains idle for five days at Tatanagar Junction. The rake consists of 22 coaches, including 12 sleeper, 3 general, 3 third AC, 2 second AC, and 2 SLR. The demand for a direct train service between Buxar and cities like Ranchi, Dhanbad, Bokaro, and Tata is nearly four decades old. However, the South Eastern Railway has been positive about the proposal, but the issue has been stuck between East Central Railway and Danapur Division, with officials citing lack of maintenance facilities in Buxar as an excuse. This excuse has been used since the time of former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar, with no efforts made to address the issue. Local leaders have urged the Railway to consider the proposal seriously, as it would benefit a large population and generate revenue for the Railways. They also pointed out the availability of space in Buxar, similar to Ballia, Ghazipur, and Patna Junction. It is hoped that the Central Minister and MP from Buxar, Ashwini Choubey, will actively pursue this proposal. The Railway has recently added some new train stops in Buxar and is reviewing other proposals, with results expected soon.

Halanki South Eastern Railway is proposal pe positive raha hai, par yeh issue East Central Railway aur Danapur Division ke beech fasa hua hai, jiske officials Buxar mein maintenance facilities ki kami ko bahana banate hain. Yeh bahana pehle Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar ke zamaney se chala aa raha hai, aur is problem ko solve karne ke liye koi effort nahi kiye gaye. Local leaders ne Railway se is proposal pe seriously sochne ki appeal ki hai, kyuki yeh bada population ko fayda dega aur Railways ko revenue bhi milega.
