Despite the pending agreement between the State government and Southern Railway, HMR officials are inspecting MRTS stations in the Old City to identify improvements and upgrade them to CMRL standards. A possible road-level section on the Laxmiguda-Jalpally-Mamidipally stretch is being explored to reduce costs. The CM has also instructed HMDA to identify government lands along the metro route for Transit Oriented Development (ToD) to contribute to the project's funding and development of the Old City. Further, the CM has encouraged HMDA and HMRL to plan metro rail extensions on five routes, including connecting the Musi riverfront East-West corridor, the airport to Kandukur on the Srisailam highway, and extending existing lines from JBS to Shameerpet and Paradise to Kandlakoya/Medchal in Phase Three. This proactive approach aims to create a modern and efficient metro rail system for Hyderabad, solidifying its position as a sustainable urban transportation hub.

traffic studies aur detailed project reports (DPRs) ki jarurat par zor diya. State government aur Southern Railway ke beech official agreement abhi pending hai, par HMR officials Old City ke MRTS stations ko inspect kar rahe hain taaki improvements identify ki ja sake aur unhe CMRL standards tak upgrade kiya ja sake. Laxmiguda-Jalpally-Mamidipally stretch par road-level section bhi dekhne ki baat chal rahi hai, taaki cost kam kiya ja sake. CM ne HMDA ko bhi order diya hai ki woh metro route ke along government lands ko Transit Oriented Development (ToD) ke liye identify kare, taaki project ke funding aur Old City ke development mein contribution ho sake. Iske alawa, CM ne HMDA aur HMRL ko panch routes par metro rail extensions plan karne ko kaha hai, jismein Musi riverfront East-West corridor ko connect karna, airport se Kandukur (Srisailam highway) tak connect karna, aur existing lines ko JBS se Shameerpet tak aur Paradise se Kandlakoya/Medchal (Phase Three) tak extend karna shamil hai. Ye proactive approach ka matlab hai ki Hyderabad ke liye ek modern aur efficient metro rail system banaya jayega, jisse city ka sustainable urban transportation hub ke roop mein status pakka ho jayega.
