Road Closure Alert In Pune: Ghorpadi-BT Kavade Road To Be Closed For Two Days For Girder Work On Railway Line Flyover

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced a road closure from BT Kavade Road, Thopte Chowk to Bharat Forge Company from January 6th to 8th to facilitate the installation of iron girders for the railway flyover at Ghorpadi. The closure will be in effect from 8 am to 6 pm daily....

Shriniwas Bonala, Chief Engineer (Projects), PMC, has advised motorists to use the alternate route from BT Kavade Road Smart Point, Vanraj Corner to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk (BG Shirke Company Gate No. One), Vathare Mala Road, which is designated for two-wheelers and light vehicles only.
