On Monday evening, December 19th, 2023, a power outage on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai railway line caused delays of up to 3 hours for over 10 trains. The disruption was caused by a collapsed electricity pole between Kim and Sayan stations. Train services resumed around 9:50 PM after the overhead line was repaired.
