Kanpur, Intercity Express between Jhansi and Lucknow, Jhansi-Lucknow Passenger, AC Special between Mumbai and Lucknow, Raptisagar Express between Gorakhpur and Hyderabad and Gorakhpur and Kochiveli, were canceled. The Chennai Express to Lucknow was also not available in Urai due to route changes. The Panvel-Gorakhpur train arrived at Urai station at 3:44 pm, five hours late. The Pune-Gorakhpur train arrived at 1 pm, four hours late. Passengers traveling towards Jhansi faced the most trouble.

Jhansi se Kanpur jaane wali MEMU, Jhansi se Lucknow aur Lucknow se Jhansi jaane wali Intercity Express, Jhansi Lucknow Passenger, Mumbai se Lucknow aur Lucknow se Mumbai jaane wali AC Special, Gorakhpur se Hyderabad aur Gorakhpur se Kochiveli jaane wali Raptisagar Express cancel thi. Chennai se Lucknow jaane wali Chennai Express bhi Urai nahin aayi kyonki uska route change ho gaya tha. Panvel se Gorakhpur jaane wali train apne time se 5 ghante late, 3:44 pm par Urai station par pahunche. Pune se Gorakhpur jaane wali Pune Express bhi 4 ghante late, 1 pm par Urai station par pahunche. Jhansi ki taraf jaane waale yaatriyo ko sabse zyada pareshani hui.
