NCRTC to Soon Begin Trial Runs on the 25 km stretch of the RRTS Corridor

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is gearing up for trial runs on the 25 km stretch of the Delhi-Meerut-Ghaziabad RRTS Corridor connecting Duhai Depot to Meerut South. (south) in Ghaziabad, and Meerut (south), with three nearing completion and Meerut (south) under construction. The infrastructure is slated for completion by March 2024. This stretch will improve connectivity between cities like Muradnagar, Modinagar, and Meerut. Upon commissioning, the operational RRTS length will increase to 42 km, connecting Sahibabad in Ghaziabad to Meerut (south) in Meerut. The existing 17 km operational stretch between Sahibabad and Duhai Depot already attracts 5,000 to 10,000 daily commuters. The NCRTC plans to focus on the RRTS link connecting Sahibabad with Delhi, as well as the Meerut to Modipuram section, which will include a local metro module in Meerut.

Muradnagar, Modinagar (north), Modinagar (south) Ghaziabad me, aur Meerut (south), jisme se teen almost complete ho gaye hain aur Meerut (south) abhi construction me hai. March 2024 tak infrastructure complete hone ki ummeed hai. Yeh stretch Muradnagar, Modinagar, aur Meerut jaise cities ko connect karega, aur transport ko easy aur convenient banayega. Is stretch ke commissioning ke baad, RRTS ki functional length 42 km tak jaayegi, jo Sahibabad in Ghaziabad se Meerut (south) in Meerut tak connect karegi. Sahibabad aur Duhai Depot ke beech existing 17 km ka stretch pe already 5,000 se 10,000 daily commuters aa rahe hain. NCRTC ka plan hai ki Sahibabad ko Delhi se connect karne wala RRTS link aur Meerut se Modipuram tak ka section, jisme Meerut me local metro module bhi hoga, pe focus kare.
