The Indian Railways adopted Kavach in 2020, and three Indian OEMs are currently approved to supply it. Tenders have been awarded for the Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Howrah corridors (approximately 3,000 Rkm), and preparatory work is underway for another 6,000 Rkm. The Indian Railways has also implemented various safety measures, including electronic interlocking systems, level crossing gate interlocking, track circuiting, and vigilance control devices for loco pilots.

Indian Railways ne Kavach ko 2020 mein adopt kiya tha, aur abhi teen Indian OEMs isko supply karne ke liye approved hain. Delhi-Mumbai aur Delhi-Howrah corridors (around 3,000 Rkm) ke liye tenders award kiye jaa chuke hain, aur 6,000 Rkm aur pe preparatory work chal raha hai. Indian Railways ne bahut saare safety measures bhi implement kiye hain, jaise ki electronic interlocking systems, level crossing gate interlocking, track circuiting, aur loco pilots ki alertness check karne ke liye vigilance control devices.
