चुनार से चोपन के बीच की 130 किमी दूरी को 4.40 घंटे में तय करने में सफल रही।

Great Achievement by NCR they ran train on E class route without any speed upgradation, so avg. speed tend to be 130/ 4.66 hrs. , it is 28 KMPH . Though actual distance is only 100 Km b/w Chunar and chopan so effective speed just came out to be 21 KMPH.

However i agree that scope of lot of work upgradation needed for this section. They should not do such publicity stunts.

Its just publicity stunt nothing else. The average speed turned out to be just 21 KMPH, and this was performed on the section where NCR didn't bothered to give an intercity or any other train of home zone in 20 years of inception in CAR- CPU section. In my opinion its not pride but truly blot and utterly shameful act by NCR. Maximum average speeds of a train through this section of just 40 kmph. WOW
