English, alongside Hindi, is one of the two official languages of the central government.

The Constitution does not list any one language as India’s “national language”. We have 22 eighth schedule languages and 99 non- scheduled languages. Some languages are also included in the "classical language" category.

1 of Article 343 (“Official language of the Union”) says “The official language of the Union shall be Hindi in Devanagari script”, and “The form of numerals to be used for the official purposes of the Union shall be the international form of Indian numerals.” English was initially an official language for 15 year period.

Section 3 of the Official Languages Act, 1963 provided for the “continuation of English Language for official purposes of the Union and for use in Parliament” even after the expiration of the 15-year period after the commencement of the Constitution.

So, English and Hindi are used on train boards as IR is under Central Government.

In various states, the official languages of the states are used in all services under the purview of the state government. Eg: Tamil in Tamil nadu, Malayalam in kerala, Marathi in Maharashtra, Punjabi in Punjab, ......

While agreeing with what you said I wish to say that there is nothing wrong in knowing another language. Apart from Tamil and English I can understand, speak and write Hindi to some level, can understand Malayalam and Telugu to some extent though I must admit not so familiarity with kannada. I know Spanish at very basic level.

Other Indian languages which I do not know but attracted my attention through media are Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, etc

I agree. Being an Indian army brat, I've lived and travelled across the length and breadth of the country. I can speak,read and write in English, Hindi, Sanskrit ,Punjabi ; and ; can understand basic kannada. At present we are based in Chennai, and I've just begun to learn to speak Tamil. Multilingualism is a bliss - it aids in better cultural understanding.

In my opinion railways should make future train sets with this coach composition 6 general class coaches including luggage loading capacity , 6 sleeper coaches , 8 ac class coaches ( which can include third ac or second ac or first ac or can be a mixture of these coaches ) and ( either 1 ac coach or 2 ac coaches can be removed to add pantry car coach and extra luggage coach ) so 6+6+8 total 20 and 2 electric locos ( 1 at front side of whole trainset and 1 at back side of the whole trainset ) so 20 +2 total 22 coaches , so that instead of giving lhb rakes to some trains which runs on a longer path railways should directly convert those mail or express or superfast express trains into these trains sets and cost of making lhb coaches will also be reduced or...

saved due to directly conversion of mail or express train into train sets and rake reversal time of many trains will be reduced cost of doing rake reversal of a train will also be reduced ( due to 2 engine 1 at back side of the trainset and 1 and front side of the train set ) and speed of all trains can be increased (due to 2 engine 1 at back side of the trainset and 1 and front side of the train set ) . Please give your opinion on this but please don't give any argument related to politics so that i can save my post from getting archived.

Or either railways can apply this coach composition in in some upcoming amrit bharat express trains so that we can get see that whether this coach composition for train sets will become a successful idea or will become waste idea.

premium trains and other mail/express trains passing through Dhanbad, including the New Delhi-Howrah Rajdhani Express and New Delhi-Sealdah Rajdhani Express. The base kitchen will be operated by RK Associates & Hoteliers Private Limited, which also manages base kitchens in other stations in Jharkhand. The facility has separate sections for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food preparation, as well as a dedicated section for parathas. The kitchen is air-conditioned and equipped with chimneys and hygiene facilities. The establishment of base kitchens is part of the Indian Railways' plan to eliminate pantry cars from trains, aiming to improve the quality and hygiene of food served to passengers. The base kitchen in Dhanbad will initially serve 12302 Howrah Rajdhani Express and 12314 Sealdah Rajdhani Express. Plans are in place to extend services to other trains like 13151 Kolkata-Jammu Tawi Express, 12019-12020 Howrah-Ranchi-Howrah Shatabdi Express, 22317 Sealdah-Jammu Tawi Humsafar Express, 12260 Bikaner-Sealdah Duronto Express, 12379 Sealdah-Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh Express, and 12329 Sealdah-Anand Vihar West Bengal Sampark Kranti Express.

Base kitchen mein veg aur non-veg ke liye alag-alag sections hain, aur parathas ke liye bhi ek alag section hai. Kitchen AC wala hai aur usme chimneys aur safai ki saari suvidhayen hain. Railways ki plan hai ki trains mein pantry cars band kar diye jaaye, isliye stations pe base kitchens banaaye ja rahe hain. Dhanbad ka base kitchen pehle 12302 Howrah Rajdhani Express aur 12314 Sealdah Rajdhani Express mein khana parosega.
