Eligible candidates must have received an 'Excellent' grading in their last 5 years of service and be free from any vigilance or departmental inquiries. While these re-appointments are intended to be temporary, they will be compensated with their last basic salary and provided travel allowances for official journeys, but no increments or allowances will be given. The Railway Board is also prioritizing passenger comfort by increasing the number of non-AC coaches and introducing non-AC 'Amrit Bharat' trains instead of Vande Bharat trains. The board has instructed all zonal railways to add 6 general coaches to all trains by March 2024, while also increasing the number of sleeper coaches. This decision comes in response to numerous passenger complaints about a lack of general coaches, leading to overcrowding in existing trains. To alleviate the situation, North Western Railway has added 42 sleeper and 59 general coaches to its superfast, mail, and express trains. Additionally, the railway is operating 68 special trains to accommodate the anticipated surge in passenger traffic during Diwali, Chhath Puja, and other festivals.

Aise employees ko re-appoint kiya jaayega jinki last 5 saalon ki service report 'Excellent' ho aur unke against koi vigilance ya DAR case na ho. Unhe unka last basic salary milega aur official journeys ke liye travel allowance bhi, par koi increment ya allowance nahi.
