Himachal: कांगड़ा से बैजनाथ-पपरोला रेल मार्ग पर कल से बहाल होगी रेल सेवा

The Kangra Valley narrow-gauge railway line, which was closed due to landslides caused by heavy monsoon rains in July 2024, is set to reopen on September 26th, 2024, with train services resuming between Baijnath Paprola and Kangra. The train will stop at stations including Majhairna Himachal, Panchrukhi, Patti Rajpura, Palampur Himachal, Sulah Himachal, Paror, Chamunda Marg, Nagrota, Samloti, and Kangra Mandir. The train services were suspended in July 2024 due to safety concerns after landslides damaged the track. This decision came after a Rajya Sabha MP raised the issue of resuming train services on the line, prompting the railway manager to conduct a technical inspection and issue orders for restoration.

Rajya Sabha MP ne train services restart karne ka matter uthaya tha, jiski wajah se railway manager ne technical inspection kiya aur restoration ke orders diye.
