Once the DPR is approved, it will be submitted to the cabinet for approval in the following month. The construction of the new ROB is expected to begin this year. The new ROB is anticipated to benefit over 50,000 commuters. The biggest challenge in constructing the new ROB is acquiring land, as it requires both railway land and some private land. This is similar to the previous acquisition process during the construction of the existing ROB 15 years ago. The approach road to the existing Kadru ROB will also be widened from Doranda Button Talab to Kadru ROB, removing encroachments and making it a four-lane road. The approach road to the Tapovan Temple will also be improved, with the old culvert-bridge being demolished and replaced with a new bridge to facilitate smooth movement of devotees.
