On Saturday, the Sabarmati Express (Train No. 19168) derailed between Govindpuri and Bhimsen stations in Kanpur, completely disrupting rail traffic on the Kanpur-Jhansi route. The derailment caused a disruption in the movement of 56 trains, and 18 trains were canceled on Sunday, in addition to 14 canceled on Saturday. An investigation is underway into the incident, and a senior administrative grade committee has been formed to investigate the potential sabotage, which includes a boulder found on the track 71 minutes after the incident. The police are also investigating the incident, which has been registered as a case against an unknown person at Kalyanpur police station.

14 minutes baad chaloo hui. Isse 56 trains ka movement band ho gaya, aur Sunday ko 18 trains cancel ho gayi, aur Saturday ko 14 cancel hui thi. Incident ki jaanch chal rahi hai, aur senior administrative grade committee banai gayi hai jisko sambhav sabotaj ki jaanch karni hai, jisme incident ke 71 minutes baad track par mila boulder bhi shamil hai. Police bhi incident ki jaanch kar rahi hai, jisko Kalyanpur police station mein unknown person ke against case register kiya gaya hai.
