In the Adra Railway Division, a line block is also scheduled due to maintenance work, altering the route of the Tatanagar-Hatia MEMU train on January 1, 3, 5, and 7. During the block, the Tatanagar to Hatia train will be routed through Gunda Bihar Station. This will cause inconvenience to passengers as the train will not stop at several smaller stations in West Bengal. The Asansol-Tatanagar train will operate up and down from Adra, while the Ara-Tatanagar train will be halted at a station for 40 minutes during the block. Several other routes, including Midnapore, Hatia, Purulia, and Kharagpur, will experience disruption. The Kharagpur Division's Bengal-Odisha route will undergo maintenance from December 30 to February 28, resulting in the cancellation of the Balasore-Bhadrak MEMU train and the Puri-Howrah Shatabdi Express until February 25. In Odisha, a rail line block will be in effect from January 2 to 7 due to maintenance work.
