The train's lack of popularity is attributed to the introduction of luxury trains on the Delhi route, competition from high-speed trains like Vande Bharat and Shatabdi, and poor maintenance leading to issues like mosquitoes and dirt. The train's future remains uncertain, with plans to change its route to go through Sitapur and even to Gorakhpur, but these plans have not been implemented.

Passengers aur railway officials ne demand kiya hai ki train Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, aur Rampur pe rukne chahiye, kyunki abhi ye sirf Bareilly, Moradabad, aur Ghaziabad pe hi rukti hai. Train ki kam popularity ka reason hai Delhi route pe luxury train aane, high-speed trains like Vande Bharat aur Shatabdi ka competition, aur train ki kharab maintenance, jiske wajah se mosquitos aur ghandi hai.
