more... Approximately 200 trains carry almost 200,000 passengers daily from the station. Charlapalli is being developed as an alternative railway junction to reduce the burden on these three stations. The terminal construction, costing around ₹450 crore, is 95% complete and expected to be operational by the first week of September. The terminal will have nine platforms. Initially, 25 trains will operate from Charlapalli, with the number gradually increasing to 50. Connectivity to Charlapalli is facilitated by the Moula-Ali - Sanathnagar route, and passengers from Medchal, Malkajgiri, Falaknuma, and Lingampalli can access the station via the MMTS. Roads are being expanded to improve road access to Charlapalli, allowing access via RTC buses. Several trains will travel between Lingampalli and Charlapalli via Moula-Ali. The official list of trains operating from Charlapalli will be announced shortly. Some trains departing from Lingampalli will travel to Charlapalli via Moula-Ali instead of Secunderabad.
