The Bridge Construction Corporation has completed the piling work for all pillars except the portion belonging to the Railways, which extends from Sheetla Sthan Chowk to Bhikhanpur Gumti No. 3. The corporation is now focusing on the construction of pile caps, piers, and hammer heads. The piling work for 7 pillars between Sheetla Sthan Chowk and Bouncy Bridge has been completed. However, the piling for pillars 8 to 14 is stalled due to the lack of NOC from the Railways. Additionally, the piling work for 7 pillars between Bouncy and Bholanath railway bridges and for pillars 15 to 39 towards Bhikhanpur has been completed. The flyover is scheduled to be completed by June of next year, leaving less than a year for its completion. However, the filling of drains and road potholes is halted due to delays by the Municipal Corporation and Budko.
